Salmon Recipe

Hi! My name is Alishia and I am a KraftaholicMommy!

Today, I thought I would share with you a fun recipe that I kind of stumbled into this week. This one was something that I cooked many years ago. I didn’t remember the full recipe so, I decided to wing it.

I found some Salmon at my local grocery store, I made sure to get those filets with the skin on. Salmon tends to be a tender fish, which means, if you are not extremely careful it will fall apart on you. A way that I combat that issue is having the skin on. This allows me to use what spatula I have on hand and I am not having to hunt down the fish spatula that I am sure is with the rest of the things that got lost in the move.

This was made with some delicious Mac and Cheese with a side of green beans. I also made some biscuits, because what dish isn’t elevated with some nice warm biscuits.

Salmon Filets, skin on

Chai Seed

Olive Oil

I decided that I wanted to bake these delicious filets rather than pan sear. Since I was without my fish spatula, I did not want to risk any filets falling apart. So, I preheated my oven to 425*F.

In a bowl, I mixed all of my ingredients. Oregano, Basil, Parsley, Chai Seed, Honey, Olive Oil, Garlic, and Terragon.

Now, with my Salmon, I did pat the filets dry so the flavor could really get in there. I poured my marinade over my Salmon and let it marinate for about an hour.

I put some aluminum foil on my baking sheet. I sprayed some cooking spray and I laid out my filets on the pan.

Once that was done and my oven was preheated, I placed the filets in the oven. I cooked them until the internal temperature reads 145*F.

This is a quick meal that is delicious. It is packed with good flavor and if you notice, I did not add salt or pepper. Why? The seasonings that I added,to me, were enough on their own. That is one of the things that I love about this dish.

I also love that just about any side would go good with it. You could make a delicious green salad and with simple oil and vinegar, you have a delicious salad. Or, you could serve this some simple quinoa and maybe some steamed broccoli. Like I said the options are endless.

I hope you give this recipe a try and please, let me know how you liked it!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed the post. If you did, please give this a like, comment, and share so others can join the fun as well. It has been such a joy to share with you these recipes, I hope you are enjoying them as much as I have enjoyed making them. Until next time!

Thank you!

God Bless!

Happy Krafting!
