Pan Searing That Chicken

Hi! My name is Alishia and I am a KraftaholicMommy!

Dinners are the best time of the day. You are finally getting home after a long day and you are able to sit down with your family and hear about everyone’s day. I love being able to talk to my boys and hear about all of the awesome things they were up to each day. I especially love watching their faces when they try something new that I cooked. Today, I would love to share with you my Pan Seared Chicken.

Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts

Italian Seasoning

Olive Oil

*Special tool* Meat Mallet

I like to take my chicken breasts and give them a few good whacks with the meat mallet to thin them out and even them out. Before I start thinning out the chicken breasts, I usually butterfly them. This helps with not having to hit the chicken a much and it still helps me with being able to evenly cook my chicken.

Using the Terragon, Pepper, and Italian Seasoning I evenly coat the chicken. I allow the chicken to marinate for a minimum of an hour. Usually, I get this part out of the way early in the morning. I will wrap my seasoned chicken and put it in the fridge until cook time that night. I have learned that giving chicken a good amount of time marinating, allows for much better flavor throughout the whole chicken.

In a large skillet over medium high heat, I heat my Olive oil. Once everything is good hot, I lay my chicken in the pan and sear away. I cook each side for a few minutes, until the internal temperature reads 165*F.

At this point, it is time to enjoy dinner with your loved ones. With this chicken, the Bacon Green Beans from yesterday would be a pretty nice side, or a delicious side salad.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post. If you did, please give this a like, comment, and share so others can join the fun as well. Thank you so much for stopping by today, your support means so much. Until next time,

Thank you!

God Bless!

Happy Krafting!
