Hi! My name is Alishia and I am a KraftaholicMommy!
Food Post Alert!!
I am excited to share with you a little recipe that I had found years ago. When I say that I found this recipe years ago, I mean it is written down in a little binder that I have of recipes. I have no idea where this recipe came from or who to give credit to. So, if you recognize this recipe, feel free to comment below where I could have found this. I would love to thank the creator of this because this flippin’ dish is delicious and I would love to thank them.
Butterfly Pork Honey Fillets- The name that it is labeled as on the recipe page. Now, I am only going to post the ingredients without the measurements, like I normally do, because, I didn’t write any measurements down. Plus, I do remember when I wrote this recipe out, that it was calling for four pork chops. More often than not these days, I am only preparing meals for my son and I during the week. So, I would have had to alter the recipe anyways. So here we go,
1. Whisk the honey, pepper, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
2. Marinate the pork chops in that saucy deliciousness for a minimum of one hour. ( I typically marinate for three to four hours.)
3. In skillet, over medium high heat, add a small amount of Olive Oil. Cook pork chops, flipping occasionally, until the meat thermometer reads, 165*F
Typically with this meat, once it is done, I let it rest for about five to ten minutes and then serve it with two sides.
My little man is a picky eater when it comes to meat. He typically only eats chicken or shrimp. When I make this, he gobbles up every bite. This always makes me so happy.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post. If you did, feel free to give this a like, comment, and share so others can join the fun as well. I greatly appreciate it!!!! Until next time,
