Hi! My name is Alishia and I am a KraftaholicMommy!
Today’s post is going to be quite short, I wanted to take a day a week and discuss something that I love to do besides crafting, cook.
I received a thing in the mail from HelloFresh. I have never ordered from them, but I have been looking at doing a food service like them. They are a meal prep company. You go on their site, order meals, and they get delivered to your house with everything you need to make that meal. So, they did not send me the whole kit to make this meal, but they did send me a recipe. When the little man saw the picture, he went nuts wanting to try it. So, I told him that the next day I would go to grocery store and pick up the couple of ingredients I was missing.
I love chicken. I am not a fan of red meat. I tend to be quite the picky eater when it comes to meat. My husband is a steak and potatoes kind of guy and my little man is a grilled cheese and don’t make me eat meat kind of kid. So, this recipe was whipped up while the husband was out of town for work. Monkey tends to try new foods for me when Daddy is not around to crack jokes at it. Haha. This recipe was so easy to make and I really thought it was great that it was simple enough that my little man was able to help.
The advertisement claimed that it would take only 30 minutes to cook, it really did. Monkey loved making the mixed greens salad and he loved the sauce for the chicken. Very few seasonings, but the seasonings that the recipe called for were powerful and delicious. I love Rosemary, so that being apart of this recipe was awesome. My son loves lemon and that was also apart of this recipe.
I have the recipe card, as you see with the images on this post. I will not be getting rid of that recipe card. This is definitely something that I will make again and make when the husband is home and can enjoy it as well.
Being at stay at home mom and having a busy schedule, the week nights are the hardest for coming up with quick meals that taste great and are healthy. I really enjoyed this recipe and with as little salt and oils that this recipe called for, I am very pleased with the meal.
I would like to say that this post was in no way sponsored by HelloFresh. I merely received the recipe in the mail as part of an advertisement. I just love sharing when I come across something great. I really loved this meal and look forward to ordering from HelloFresh to try not only more of their recipes, but to see just how awesome their food service is.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post! If you did, feel free to give this a like, comment, and share. I would definitely appreciate it. In the meantime, feel free to follow me on Facebook at facebook.com/kraftaholicmommy and on Instagram at instagram.com/alishia_blount I post between blog posts on these platforms. Until next time,
