Hi! My name is Alishia and I am a KraftaholicMommy!
With all of the rain we have gotten over the past couple of weeks, there have been so many back roads in my area that are either under water or so muddy small vehicles cant make it through. I couldn’t help but come on here and ask that if any of my readers are experiencing higher than normal rainfall, please don’t drive down flooded roads. You can never be 100% sure that your vehicle will make it. I cannot even begin to tell you all of the horror stories that I have heard about people going down flooded roads.
Having given that tidbit of advice, allow me to continue.
If you are going out of town, I know how exciting it is and I am truly excited for you. However, do yourself a huge favor and do NOT put that information on social media. That is like handing a thief an invitation to break into your home. Do not post pictures of you out and about in realtime. Why? Same reason you shouldn’t announce on social media that you have an upcoming vacation. I know some very sweet people who were posting pictures while they were on vacation and by the time they got back, their home had been broken into. They lost everything. I mean everything; the thieves set the house on fire, in an attempt to cover up evidence. When they found the thieves, investigators found out that the thieves found out the house was empty, by watching their Facebook. The investigators looked at their Facebook and sure enough, they had even given the thieves a countdown. Save yourself the heartache and pain, don’t post your whereabouts in realtime. Share your pictures from your trip, when you get back home.
I love getting new awesome things! I really do, I just don’t post about it, nor do I broadcast it in any other way. Did she get a new television? You won’t know by looking at my trash for pick up. Did she get a totally amazing and wicked expensive Keurig? You won’t know. Why? Because those boxes are like shining a huge spotlight, with a bullhorn that screams “Thieves, come get my stuff!!!!” Suggestion; burn the boxes, rip them up into small enough pieces that they’ll fit inside the trash can, or take them to the recycling plant yourself.
These are just a few tips that I thought I would share with you. I hope you enjoyed today’s post. Tomorrow we will be back at it with the amazing crafting fun. If you did enjoy today’s post, feel free to give this a like, comment, and/or share. I would greatly appreciate it. Until next time,
Thank you and God Bless!
