Dealer Sunday~ Hobby Lobby

Hi! My name is Alishia and I am a KraftaholicMommy!

This weekend has been so amazing! My husband and I have been working on our projects and spending time with our son. Might I also say that this weather has been absolutely beautiful! The sun has forgiven Florida, at least for a few days!

Recently, with my wreath making, I have been kindly obsessed with crosses. I feel with Easter coming up, crosses are the perfect addition to that beautiful burlap! While working with these crosses, I could not help but think of Hobby Lobby!

Hobby Lobby was started in the year 1972, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. While this store started in a mere three hundred square foot building, it has grown to over eight hundred stores! This store is Christian based and there are hints of that throughout each of their stores. The beautiful cross section they have in each store, is magnificent.

History lesson now complete, this store is one of my favorites. This store is one of the furthest from my house, a whopping fifty miles to the closest Hobby Lobby! When I visit, I am there for hours.

I always hang out by the entrance for the first bit. This part of the store has the best decor pieces and cute desks! I love how the store closest to me also carries the cutest decorative wagons. Having that rustic look is always a plus to me.

From there, I visit the infamous crosses. I am always amazed at how many they have and how beautiful each one is. I love that they carry crosses for the modern taste to the rustic. I also appreciate how affordable they are.

It is at this point, I find the paper crafting section. I love that they have a wide array of stamps for every occasion. I truly appreciate that they have Christian themed stamps as well. I love their selection of background stamps and their paper crafting accessories. They also carry Sizzix thin lits, which helps with my having the Sizzix BigKick.

I always check out their clearance racks. This store may not offer a bunch of coupons, just the weekly forty percent off an item. They do have a clearance section that is phenomenally stocked. Hobby Lobby always marks their prices down on their clearance items usually as high as sixty to seventy percent off. That is huge when you are wanting to really shop.

While I do not get to shop at Hobby Lobby as much as I would Iike, this store does offer an online store. I can appreciate a store that offers online services. I am not the biggest fan of buying certain things online, being able to buy their adorable pieces for my picture crafts and for decor, this store does not disappoint. I like that their weekly coupon can be applied online as well. Their website also shares fun craft ideas and gives fantastic decor ideas.

I know that this is usually the point that I start mentioning the things that I do not care for about the store, but really there is just one. I would love for Hobby Lobby to have a store closer to me. That is merely a personal downside of Hobby Lobby. There are so many things that are fantastic about this store that I can not, for the life of me, think of any bad things.

I also understand that this post is rather short, I would like to take this time to give a brief introduction of myself. It has been a month since I started this site and I would like to introduce myself to the many new viewers that this site has gained.

First, I would love to take a moment and thank you from the bottom of my heart for stopping by and reading these posts. I am truly amazed at how many amazing people have been stopping by and I am truly grateful!

My name is Alishia, as I mentioned in the first line. I am currently twenty-nine years old and I am a stay at home mom. My wonderful husband and fantastic son make up my world. I have a severe addiction to crafting and I love talking about it. I enjoy spending time with my boys and my family. I love attending church and volunteering with my sons tee ball team and school. In my spare time, I crochet like there is no tomorrow and I enjoy being outside taking in that beautiful Florida sunshine.

I hope you come back tomorrow, as I post everyday. I also hope you enjoyed today’s post. If you did, feel free to give this a like or just drop a comment down below. Feel free to browse the other posts and share this site with your friends and family, so they can join the fun as well. Until next time,

Thank you and God Bless!

Happy Krafting!
